Valentine’s day will soon be upon us and there will be a mad rush to buy expensive bouquets and other goodies. The recipients can savour the warm glow that accompanies the loving gestures, while those who are single, widowed or in unhappy relationships may feel sorrow and pain.
That’s why we’re making a Valentine’s Day gesture that will uplift the spirit of ALL of us. For every purchase of Slange Var made before 10th February, we’ll donate 10% of sales to purchase wildflower seeds that will create meadows for schools and community groups throughout Argyll and Bute, one of the most scenic regions in Scotland. Our plan has been welcomed by the Eco Diversity team at Argyll and Bute Council who are responsible for protecting pollinator species that are threated due to climate change.
So here’s you’re choice. You can buy a bouquet that will probably wilt within a week or you can plant a meadow that can we and future generations can cherish.
Yes, please: I’d like to put a smile on Sir David Attenborough’s face and create stunning meadows.
