Slange Var At Glasgow’s Biggest Burns Night
Nestled in the grand Saloon, listening to the lively Portencross Ceilidh Band, we served Slange Var to a crowd of 200 in The Trades Hall for the Glasgow Young Professionals' biggest night of the year.
Alongside fellow drink producers, Once Upon A Whisky and The Glenrothes, we provided the non alcoholic option for the Glasgow Young Professionals' Burn’s Night Ceilidh. We were delighted with the feedback we received.
The Trades Hall is the most iconic building we have served Slange Var in to date. Designed by Scottish architect Robert Adam in the 1790s, it’s home to 14 incorporated Trades including the wonderfully named Hammermen and Bonnetmakers.
It was wonderful to serve Slange Var underneath baroque chandeliers, surrounded by mahogany-panelling and a beautiful stained glass portrait of Mary Queen of Scots. We certainly could get used to this level of grandeur!
The Burns Night is the biggest event in the Glasgow Young Professional calendar and it was a delight to hear such positive feedback from young professionals and entrepreneurs.
